Cutlery steel

YASAKA scissors use stainless special cutlery steel manufactured from raw materials with extremely few impurities.
Its properties are excellent hardness, toughness, abrasion resistance, and sufficient corrosion resistance.
YASAKA scissors have established our own manufacturing method that has been completely vacuum-quenched to the contact point of the world’s first moving and static blade and has been sub-zero processed.
Currently, we use forged and hardened cutlery steel optimized for hairdressing and beauty scissors based on the theory and technology of ancient Japanese swordsmithing.

Our top priority is to provide scissors manufactured using the best materials and technology at affordable prices.

Precautions for use

Do not loosen the fulcrum screw more than necessary.
The state where the scissors are opened and the finger is not put in the finger hole.
If the scissors close due to the weight of the handle, tighten the fulcrum screw.

Please treat the scissors carefully.

Dropping it on the floor or receiving an impact may cause the blade to spill.

■Wipe off any moisture or dirt after use.
Please be especially careful as it may cause corrosion and shorten the life of the scissors extremely.
Stainless cutlery steel has strong corrosion resistance, but it is not rust-proof stainless steel.

■Forcibly cutting with a damaged blade will shorten the life of the scissors.
If the sharpness becomes poor, please resharpen the blade as soon as possible.

■We are not responsible for any problems that may occur if you cut something other than hair, so please be careful when using it.

If you would like to sharpen or repair the blade at the manufacturer, please contact us.
